Medical Assistant Program Commitment

Beginning June 30, 2021 and ending November 19, 2021, students will participate in self-guided virtual study, weekly virtual classrooms and 4 in-person skills boot camps.

• Weekly virtual classrooms will be held every Wednesday from 6:30 – 8:30 PM.
• In-person skills boot camps will be held on four separate dates and each will include a full day of training on a Sunday and Monday.

Beginning on November 29, 2021 and going through February 28, 2022, students will complete 200 hours of clinical training in the Adventist Health clinics. Students will be required to complete two to three 8-hour shifts per week. Weekend dates are not available due to clinic hours and availability.

Adventist Health Howard Memorial / Ukiah Valley (Summer 2022)

Beginning June 8, 2022 and ending October 26, 2022, students will participate in self-guided virtual study, weekly virtual classrooms and 4 in-person skills boot camps.

Beginning on October 31, 2022 and going through January 30, 2023, students will complete 200 hours of clinical training in the Adventist Health clinics. Students will be required to complete two to three 8-hour shifts per week. Weekend dates are not available due to clinic hours and availability.

Adventist Health Howard Central Valley Network (Fall 2021)

Beginning September 30, 2021 and ending March 17, 2022, students will participate in self-guided virtual study, weekly virtual classrooms and 4 in-person skills boot camps.
